Hi everyone. I was finally able to eat scrambled egg today! But I am having a lot of heart palpitations (or feels like). Also I have pain in the right side of my chest. Anyone else have this or similar?

BoPeep,

Hello there and glad to hear your eating........whoooooo hoooooo turn

I would check withyour physician re the Heart Palpitations and the right sided chest pain. Treating heart palpitations depends greatly on the nature of the problem. Once you have ruled out any serious medical problems then you can talk with your physician regarding a connection to your surgery.

Take care hun and keep posting.

Hi Elaine, I had some serious chest pain just the other night after eating. I eventually chewed two of my chewable gas-X and it took care of it...who knew? I agree with Kitt though, I never had the palpitations, so I would certainly check with your Dr.

I still get esophageal spasms when I eat and sometimes when I drink...that will cause pain in my chest, but I know it's from the food getting caught or not going through the valve.

Let us know how you're doing.
