Results from Upper Endoscopy

I had my Procedure om 9/19/08 the results so far Gastritis Inflamation of the stomach and they stretched my esophagus as I had troublw swallowing anything and lots of pain in my throat. they took biopsies I have my follow up appt on Friday 9/26/08 I also get my results because I took a seperate test through Radiology to have my gallbladder contract to see if I need taken out or not because I have been also having lots of pain in my abdomen on the right side which goes to my back I have more pain after I eat and at night when I lay down for bed and nauseau which I still have and I am not eating as I ussualy do. I will keep you guys posted honestly I don't know what any of this means. If any one has gone through any
of this please advise. And I will also let you know the outcome of my follow up appt. thanks Guys. PR Glo

Can you give me some details of how this procedure was done so I have an idea on when they do this to me in 2 days? How long did it take? Did they put you to sleep? Did feel anything?

I have gone thru endoscopy's along with colonoscopy's for my crohns

I do know how very uncomfortable and painful at times they can be
if you are not knocked out /sedated..I watched the colonscopy's a couple of times
but if you asked for sedation it should have been a lot easier on you

BeesGee The Procedure was pretty Easy I went in was given a medicine to gargle that was disgusting to numb the back of my throat then they put this plastic piece you keep in your mouth to protect your teeth etc,, I was totally knowvked I felt nothing at all and I awoke in the recovery room the actual procedure only took about 20 min to 1/2 hr. I felt no pain and not even groggy. Don't worry u will be Ok keep me posted on procedure and results. PR/Glo
