Hi, I have come over from the Crohn's side of things ..... I asked the crohines but I thought I would ask you guys also cause you have more experience

I tried to look it up but i didnt really get lots of help ... I am hoping I have indigestion and not something more serious. I happens most of the time when I lay down. I get very very bad pain in my chest. Night before last it hurt so bad I almost went to the ER the only thing that stopped me was I didnt want to go to the ER for indigestion lol. When I looked it up it said that the pain was in the epigastric area between the lower end of the chest bone and the navel. But my pain is higher like right were my heart is ?? could it still be indigestion ?? o and the night when it hurt so bad I finally vomited and the pain went away for the most part .. that makes me think it is indigesion even more but ... I really dont know if i've ever had indigestion before so i really dont know what it is ...

Hi there!  This is one of the symptoms of indigestion/heartburn.
I want to know if this happens after you get a heavy meal or are you stressed and with a little sleep lately?  These are signs that you have heartburn then.  Heartburn is when your stomach secretes too much digestive acid that it goes up to your esophagus up to your throat and this gives the sour taste and sometimes leads to vomiting.  I am also a heartburn sufferrer andalready take meds to control it.  I suggest, still, that you have yourself checked by a doctor to be sure it's heartburn.  And if it is, ask about the medicine aciphex.  Worked for me.
Edit,
I took out your link to the Pharmacy.

Welcome to the newbies and your sx could be heartburn but we are not professionals and I would strongly suggest you see your physician for a dx, which I see, daisyrambler, you already have an appointment for.  That is a good thing.

I am glad you fell comfortable posting here and if you find out indeed your problem is Heartburn do continue to talk with the members of this great forum.

Gentle Hugs to you.

Kitt

i did see my dr today and he said that yes my pain is probably from the heart burn ... he said that the heart burn is probably causing esophagus spasms ... and gave me yet some more meds to take ... but he did say that it may just be cause from the preds ... i'll be off pred soon so i hope i wont have to be on that med for a long time ..
I thank you guys so much for leting me come over to your side lol and thanks for the thoughts !!
