I'm not even sure where to post this, but for some reason get this feeling almost like a pill stuck in my throat that usually seems to occur or get the worse if I eat anything with vinegar in it, maybe OJ does it some too. I swear it grows in my throat within minutes the way it feels. The spot almost hurts when I swallow, it will eventually subside after an hour or so.

Has anyone else had something similar occur? It seems to happen quite often lately.

I also have a hard time swallowing a large amount of water, as if it will go down the wrong tube, yet I can swallow large pills and meat just fine.

i feel like there is something in my throat, but my doctors say there is nothing there, but i am having an endoscopy next week for something else, so i guess they'll be able to see if there is something there or not.

it does feel like a lump there, like its hard to swallow or something. but i don't know if its worse with vinegar or oj

Good Morning Zippy,

Have you consulted a physician about your concerns?  I would certainly have your Doctor check it out.

Hope you find some reassurance here in the GERD forum.

Yeah I will have to get someone to scope it out for sure. I also have colitis, I am thinking maybe the same GI doctor can help with both ends. I was just trying to get a clue as to what may possibly be causing it. It's almost like a good part of my throat is very sensitive to anything that touches it. You always fear the worse.
