I want to see a particular physician who is one of the best in the area for my condition, but I have to wait until May 12th.

Someone else is available on April 29th (this Wednesay).

I have gastritis and LPR.

My symptoms are loss of appetite, constipation, and extreme fatigue.

Should I see someone as soon as possible or can I wait until the 12th?

I hear some people have these symptoms chronically so I am not sure how urgent my situation is.

Dilema: Do I need to see a doctor immediately?

You know your body the best. Do you feel like you should see a doctor sooner?

I honestly don't know.  Part of me says I should, but as I mentioned, some people chronically have the symptoms that I am having.

kevin,

You are asking questions that only you can answer, we are not professionals and all we can offer is our own personal opinions.  You are posting on other forums some of the same questions as your posting here.

If you need to see a GI Doctor please do make an appointment and get the opinion of a professional.

I am sure that will help you tremendously.

Take care

Kitt

Is there something wrong with posting the same question on another forum?  My thinking is there are different people on various boards.

No you are free to post wherever you choose.  Did not mean anything by my comment other then I was wondering if you learn something helpful you would share with us here?  The more info available the better to make informed decisions.

To ease your mind I would see the doctor on the 29th and go to the specialist on the 12th. There is nothing wrong with second opinions.
