I get heartburn maybe once a year but recently I've been getting it every day. Today was the worst! I couldn't tell if I should take asprin for a heart attack or an antiacid for heartburn. I took Pepcid ac but nothing happened, I was still in so much pain in my chest area. After about 2 hours I finally felt better when I took tylenol. I have been under a lot of stress lately...Divorce, moving starting up school again. I have been so nauseas for the last couple of weeks it has been hard to eat so I have lost about 10 lbs very quickly. I've been feeling week and light headed. I know for sure I am not pregnant, if that what you were thinking. So my main problem is the darn heartburn it gets worse and worse everyday.  I have finally been able to eat whole meals for the last couple of days. Is this the cause for the horrible heartburn? I guess I'm starting to freak out. Is this all stress related or is it just bad heartburn? Can anyone relate?

Welcome to HealingWell and the GERD/Heartburn Forum.  It sounds like you have some real stressors going on in your life right now.
I would like to suggest you see you PCP and receive a complete medical screening exam to make sure you do not have a medical issue going on.
Stess can cause many physical sx.
Again welcome to our world.
