Just finished both, and ugh wat a pain.  Does anyone know how long it takes before this bravo device falls off?
For the mamotry test it was such a mess i nearly choked to death they had to rush a doctor in to watch the test and evaluate there.  They then canceled my 24 ph test and replaced it with a bravo test.  Plus now my stomach ache won't go away and i'm not sure i wanna go back on the ppi's.  I've been trying dgl licorice and a little gaviscon, as well as a little gas-ex.  Hopefully if im very careful things might go my way.  Some days i feel great and fine, other days im in constant pain and every gi doc i see gives me a different response or tells me i'm nuts.  I'm not nuts, right?:/

No, it's normal...I'm 25 days off of Nexium (I was on it for 10 weeks) and Protonix for (7 weeks). I still have stomach burning..just not quite as bad as the initial part of the rebound. I'm taking dgl licorice and probiotics.

griff - When I had the Bravo done I went back into have a stretch done, 30 days later my capsule was still in place so I had to reschedule the endoscopy.
My case is propably not routine but just so you know it can stay in for longer.
