Bill, I haven't lifted any more tables or chairs at work. I can do it with one hand if I have too. I'm not going to take any chances on messing this up. I'm going to call tomorrow and talk to my doctors assistant about
a lifting restriction. I'm just going to tell him about
the stabbing pain in my wrist when I lift the tables. He's the one I should have talked to about
it in the first place as he is the one that gave my last one. I went to the walk in clinic tonight since the first 2 steri strips came off and it still looked like my incision was
open and it hurt. When the doctor took off the rest of the strips the other part had all ready healed shut. He said it looked like it had graulized and was healing well. They put more steri strips on it and the nurse told me I didn't need the ace bandage any more, but an hour later the strips were coming up where my incison is still healing so I put the ace back on. I spent 2 hours waiting to see the doctor and I didn't want it to be for nothing. When I asked him about
swimming he asked what the surgeon had said so I told him and he agreed this Friday should be ok. I can't wait to get back in the pool and do my back exercises and soak in the hot tub. We did have fun at the zoo on Sunday. It's a really small zoo, but the petting zoo has all sorts of unusual animals. The arctic fox was so pretty and soft. I also had fun watching the baby pot belly pigs.
Kitt I work this weekend so no movies. We go on my weekends off. If my doctors assistant doesn't give me a work restriction I am just going to tell my boss I will drop stuff if I lift with that hand. No way am I going to mess it up. I didn't ask the doctor tonight because I knew he would just tell me to talk to my surgeons office about it.
