Hello

Because Caffeine is bothering me at the moment, I am looking for healthier, non bothersome alternatives. I am looking at bee pollen for energy but I thought about asking your suggestions. There are times without caffeine that I feel listless

Have you tried Green Tea? It has 15MG of caffeine compared to say coffee that has from 85-115 or a diet coke that has 45MG!

Or if it's the caffeine, try decaf, which has les than 5! Maybe just the thought of having coffee, even if it's decaff, will pull you through!

I too have stopped coffee, but when I feel I really need it, I'll have a small cup and mix half decaf half regular.

Let me know what works for you!

Hello!

I have heard good things about bee pollen. Let us know what you think if you try it!

I have to say that I have personally invested thousands in trying out different natural ways to have energy instead of caffeine. I like tea and drink it in the morning but honestly, it never compared to the "energy" effects and mental alertness I would get from caffeine :) But I did have someone share a natural product with me that really works! It's called Ageless Xtra by Univera.

I used to always hit that "lull" in the afternoon especially, and thus would turn to coffee/latte's to help me push through!
But this product has been the first one that has allowed me to not need coffee anymore. I also notice much improved
mental clarity which helps me tremendously in my "desk job." I used to fight to keep focused so it's actually helped my
performance at work as well---- can't say enough great things about it!

I would be happy to send you some free samples to try if you like. That's what someone did for me which is how I found
out about it... otherwise I probably would have never discovered it! And it's literally been a life changing experience for me :)

Hope that helps!

I don't drink any coffee except iced mocha joes, but only as a special treat. When I'm desperate for a pick me up I drink one of those energy shots they advertise on tv, that's rare though. Mostly I just take a daily B12 pill.

My husband and I have used B pollen and it works pretty well. I can't drink even decaf with out stomach problems as there is the acid in the coffee as well as the small amount of caffeine. Apple juice also helps pick you up. I forget what it is in it that works. Hope that helps you out. Barb

My question for you all is do you have GERD or have you had surgery to repair it? I just had a Nissen and want to know when it is likely I will be able to tolerate carbonation and/or caffeine....

Yes I had the surgery 9 years ago and take 3 stomach meds now and can't eat any thing with caffiene, carbonation or acidic. I have a really touchy stomach though. I still have acid that comes up if I eat that stuff.  Barb

Doesn't the green tea have caffiene in it though?

Great topic. I just recently had to quit a daily habit of regular coffee. I was just thinking about this today as I was in the office seeing a few co-workers drinking my favorite coffee. Mornings aren't as fabulous as they used to be :(
