Awwww shucks, you guys are the best.

Here is a giggle for you:

Unscheduled Outage

It's thunderstorm season and when the power goes out at one branch office, the uninterruptible power supplies kick in, everything gracefully shuts down, and the technician waits for power to return. And waits. And waits.

"Late evening sees the power restored, and we go about bringing the network back to life," says the tech.

Next morning, the phone rings. It's a very irate corporate administrator wanting to know why we had an unscheduled outage the day before. The tech calmly explain about the storm, which he had no control over.

The Administrator's response? "Next time, put it on the schedule before you have an unexpected outage!"

Happy Monday All,

Kitt

Hi Kitt,
Love that joke! So true--that's why it's funny.

I wasn't any help yesterday, either, because we had our open house from 1-4, and spent the morning with last minute paint touch-ups (you could touch up paint nonstop for an entire year. There is never an end to things you can find to touch up! At some point you just have to say "enough is enough"!)

At 1:00, when we left (we went to see the townhouse model again, and visit our kids. Took them all out to dinner), there were two cars waiting to come up the driveway. The agent said that it was nonstop. A past room parent/mortgage broker came to the open to help our as a favor to me (I had his two sons, the last two years). My agent said that she couldn't have done it without him. I guess that they were busy with more than one group all day long. I'm so glad.

Even if none of them buy the house, they may know somebody who is looking, and recommend it. I guess the comments were extremely positive. Keep your fingers crossed! We're having another open next Sunday--just two hours (2-4). There's a Realtor's open on Wednesday, so hopefully some of those people will bring clients by once they have a chance to see it.

Anyway, enough of that. We had huge storms last night, too. Lots of lightning and torrential downpours. We probably got 3 inches in one rainfall. It just wouldn't quit!

Anyway, glad you're back online! We can't do this without you!
Have a great day.

Thanks, Bea. Hopefully it sells soon, so we don't have to keep worrying about it. Then we'll have to find a place to live!
Hope you're feeling well.
Have a nice night,

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Griff. I'm just thinking of one thing at a time. No sense in worrying about the next step. We'll figure it out.
Hope you're feeling well.

Hey all, I am just a barrel of laughs.........Oh my !

Denise, good friends of our put their house on the market back when things were booming and they sold it the first day to some people who over bid the asking price as they had more then one offer.  I have not been that lucky but we did sell ours within the first week back then.

I would start looking a tents and high ground to camp on once the house is sold.............don't want you washing away in all the rain.

I have you in my prayers for a successful quick sale so you can move on with your plans.

I will be MIA on Friday and Saturday.........going to the Lake.

I have to take the time to tell each of you how warm and at home I feel here with all of you.  I always know I can come here and find love and encouragement.  I feel very safe here and I am honored to be a member of this great forum.

Gentle Hugs to all
Kitt

Hi Kitt,
You're the one who first welcomed me to this forum, and have been there supporting and encouraging me throughout my recovery journey. Thanks for that. Enjoy your trip to the lake! Hope the weather is beautiful for you.

We've only had the house on the market for about a week, and it's already getting a bit old! We've got to just relax and let it happen. It's easy to get anxious, and assume that it won't sell, etc. Hopefully the realtor's open tomorrow gets lots of realtors in here. We live out in the country, so it's out of the way, and is hard to attract realtors, who tend to like to just get into the developments and go from house to house. Our real estate agent broke her hand (right) and needed hand surgery yesterday. On top of that, her mom died last week, and she has services in her hometown to attend. Poor thing. Through all this, she's trying to do her job in real estate, which isn't easy.

Just keep reminding me to stay in the NOW and relax...I can't force the issue...just have to sit back and let it happen!
Enjoy your week,
Denise

Denise, come to beautiful GA. I live in an area that has beautiful 100 year old houses with huge rooms (most 18x18) and ten foot ceilings. I got my 100 year old house for $35,000. :)
There's a gorgous two story down the road from me with a sun room, columns, and balcony for sale. The perfect antibellum house.

Loved the joke. I get so mad at my computer when it seems to run slow but let me loose my internet connection and I feel lost and wish it was still up even if runnining slow. I feel so out of touch with the world when my computere is down. I never realize how musch I use my computer till it is down.

Kitt have fun at the lake. Re;lax and enjoy the time

You all bring tears to my eyes.............your so kind and caring and you have wonderful words of support and wisdom for each other.

Tomorrow is the 19th anniversary of our son's death in a car crash.  I have not mentioned this any place else in HW but I feel safe in sharing here. I had a rough time today but I know tomorrow will bring sunshine and love and I will bring roses to the cemetery for our Todd.

Denise.............stay in the moment.  Janice, I am glad you liked it.

Mary, Joy and Griff, I will kick back and enjoy the weekend at the cabin. My first time up there this summer.

Love to all

Kitt
