Hello, my name is Pat, I have joined the forum because I have recently joined the "up all night with stomach pain" after reading a bit on here I have discovered I am not alone.....

I have had 2 trips to the ER, that resulted in a 2 night stay both times.....I have had a ultra sound of my stomach and heart that checked out good, I have had a hida-scan (spl?) that was questionable, by a surgeon and a doctor, so I still have my gall bladder. I am going to second gastro doc and my regular doc in the morning for a follow up from last stay in the hospital. The surgeon that did my endoscopy told me I have gastornitis (spl?) but didnt offer any cures........

I have lost about 20 lbs since July 1. My wife is starting to get annoyed because I can't sleep because of the annoying pain in my gut....

Anyway, here I am...... cool

Good Days

Pat,

Where is the pain in your stomach?  Did the gastro dr say it was from Gerd?

Hopefully the new gastro dr will do more extensive testing and be sure and tell him where and when everything hurts.  Sometimes when you do they know what to test for.

Hope you are better soon.

Pain moves, never stays in one spot. I talked to another surgeon today, who said he would remove my gallbladder, told me there is 20% chance I may not be any better than I am now......
