I guess I'm a pig now...I caught the swine flu! smhair

I'm less than 24 hrs in and ache all over, no energy, coughing, sniffing, sore, scratchy throat and lymph nodes swollen. skull

Doctor put me on tamaflu this morning. This is the second time I've ever had the flu in my life and I hate it.

Is it true that my cats can catch this, too?

Joy-
Sorry you caught this nasty thing. I am not sure if cats can catch this particular flu, but I do know cats can catch a lot of tings from humans like colds and tonsillitis. I gave that to my cat when I was about 12. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Take care,
Bill

Joy,
Sorry to hear you are down and out with the flu. I know we have been sending a lot of students home with flu sx this past week.

I don't know about cats.............I don't have one :-) .

Take care and I hope the Tamiflu helps shorten your bout of the flu.

Thanks ya'll.
I do feel different since I started the Tamiflu. The "lead weights" are less heavy. I'm taking Hydrocodone syrup for my coughing and my fever is lowering. I still have a killer headache.
Well time to rest.
