I have been struggling with GERD for 3 months now and nothing seems to be working.I have tried PPI's ,changing diet ,tilting the head of the bed   :( i recently started juicing with green vegetables for the last 3 days and i am waiting to see if maybe some how the alkaline effect in the body somehow restores the defect in the LES valve or wherever the prob is.  I know that jucing helps alot for alot of things:losing weight (which can also cause acid reflux), strengthen the immune system , and supposevely it should work to repair cells inside the body. So maybe this could somehow trigger the protective mechanism that stops acid reflux to work again.
So has anyone tried it?

thanks for welcoming me Stkitt! i feel all fuzzy inside jajaj. I guess i am just way to optimistic about Veggie juices because for some reason this thing that is so hard to fix should be simple. My opinion is there has to be a way to restore normal function to the muscle that controls the valve , there just has to be. I have been to a gastro and heperformed a bunch of tests, endoscopy, bravo test, but i have no hiatal hernia and he said the bravo test did not show any abnormaility as far refluxes and stuff. So i am kinda lost. He said he would send me to the university of Miami medicine department where they have people that specialize in acid refux and other esophageal issues. I guess i am going to that route, but i was also thinking of robably going to a neurologist and see what he thinks. I think my reflux was caused by a panic attack i had right before they symptoms started occuring . So it could be that a nerve from the LES got tangled and has not been repsonsive ever since not allowing to fully close.

The reason why i say this is because i was watching a show about medical mysteries and that day i was watching was about a little girl that all of a sudden started vomitting in her sleep and she would always wake up not knowing why or how it happened. The took her to a gastro ans they performed the bariuam swallow but she did not reflux anything. Finally they took her to a neurologist and bingo . They saud she could have had an epileptic disorder. so they gave her this medicine and ever since that she stopped vomitting and after a long period of the medicine she was able to get off of it with no symptoms whatsover.

so what do you guys think , could it also be something that perhaps a neurologist could treat ?

So my next question is, do you guys think
