Kitt, my tests showed no change in my condition, which is good-hiatal hernia, medium, GERD no worse, and one poylp on the colon which my gastro thinks is okay. the last tests 3 years ago said i had barret's esophagus, but no sign of that now. i am grateful.

have felt yucky this afternoon, and though i would be able to eat like a horse but have such bloating that even scrambled eggs filled me up after a few bites.going to try chicken noodle soup tonight.

again, thank you for welcoming me to the forums.

Hi Carolinagirl,
That's great to hear. Those tests aren't fun, but it's a great way to find out what's going on in there!
Good luck with getting back to normal eating!
Take care,
Denise

Denise, thanks. This evening I nibbled on a few things and caught a cat nap, so feel better. It is back to work tomorrow for me and I am sure that I will be fine. It will be so good for me to have some who have the same issues I have that I can turn to. My family is extremely supportive, but none of them has GERD, so they are clueless.
Sleep well,

The news is good news, yeee haaaaaaaa.  Now if you just go slow and you will soon be back to eating the good foods and not having any issues.
