hi! Im new at the forum. I've been having pain for the las t 10 years approximately like in my stomach but I never pay much attention until know. That everytime I eat it hurts I get bloaded and I have been asked when is my due date. I get very frustuated and i cry alot. I try wearing big clothes so people wont ask me questions. Anyway i went to an gastrointestinologist and they performed and vaginal and abdonimal ultrasound on dec 14 and i have to go back on the 21st of dec for an endocology im a little scare because the person doing the ultrasound asked me If I had similar test done and she want it to compare it right there with the ones she took. But they did not sent to to her. So she told me that It was very very important that i made a follow up with my doctor as soon as possible. My symptons are bloating, pain in my left side, stomach hurts, everytime I eat, my weight gets 2 to 3 sizes bigger and i have to lay down because of the pain. Has anybody had this. What have they recommend. I know I have to go back to the dr on Monday. but curiosity is killing me,.. Please help any one...

Dear Dedee,

I agree with the ultrasound tech, you need to follow up and find out what is causing your problems and perhaps have some lab work done as well as further testing. Try to just go with it and feel confident that your physician will get to the bottom of your problem.

Also if you do not feel you get adequate medical testing do seek out a second opinion. 10 years is a very long time to be suffering. I wish you peace and please keep in touch and let us know how you are.

We are here to support you.

Gentle Hugs
