as i think i am rushing things i have now gone back on to liquid food just because i thought i was doing great and dh did carrotts and i said dont mush them i could chew them as they was soft noooooooooo big mistake . so back on the liquids for a while

So sorry, mookie, But I warned you.
My hardest food right now is mushy Vienna sausage (kinda like potted meat).

ha ha so you did not had the neausea since surgery saw thats a plus i guess and no ppi wow .

breathing still painful for me and looks like one of my incisions is infected its all red . but other than that feel great just had a boiled egg all mushed up it was lovely yum yum

mookie, did you get the full wrap? That maybe the reason your still hurting. It takes longer to heal from the Nissen than the Hill.
Take it easy and don't rush it.

yes i got the full wrap done . really trying to eat but its so hard tried tuna but no chance so had jello again going to have oatmeal now

Hi Mookie,
Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with your eating, but it's par for the course, I think. Just stick with the soft things, and drink some tea or something hot/warm with it. It's very normal not to be able to eat much for a while. This too will pass.

Everyone's recovery is unique, but I've found that some basic things are experienced by all of us.
