Still having symptoms. No pain from the incisions and the itchiness is gone finally! My skin has been super dry which probably didn't help. I still have yet to try any of the "bad" foods. I did have a peanut butter cookie earlier. Went down fine but sitting like a rock. nono I have to eat something every 2 hours or I get jittery. I'm starting to wonder if it's low blood sugar. I don't go back to the GI until the 28th. I'm not sure what they do if the nissen didn't work. Redo maybe?

Have you trying eating a spoonful of peanut butter? I licked a small teaspoonful the other day.
Try some protein drink like muscle milk, slimfast, or gulcerna. They help with the low sugar problems.

I haven't tried those. I'm going to pick up some glucose tablets tomorrow and see if that helps. when I was pregnant the dr had me drinking ensure because I wasn't gaining weight. Maybe I'll try those again. They are loaded with vitamins.

Michelle-
Remember it is still early in the healing process. Things should start to settle down quickly now though. Those first few weeks are the roughest with all the swelling and your body adjusting t the new arrangement.
I also got the jitters quite often wile I wasn't taking in enough nutrients. I think Joy's idea of a spoon full of peanut butter is a good idea as long as you are allergic to it that is.
Take care,
Bill
