your welcome Kitt,i only don`t know why the link is not working properly devil

good info is very important if your dealing with gerd/lpr and maybe facing surgery if nothing helps.

this is what happend to me...and i did lots of research!!!

First i had a Esophyx procedure done but it failed and my situation got worst, after that i had a nissen fundoplication and my symptomps improved but it never workt properly,i still had some reflux and pain in the chest but living with minor pain was acceptabel to me.
now i found out why it is not working properly,my Esophyx procedure was not taken down prior to the nissen fundoplication.
the Esophyx should have come undone to get a normal anatomy of the stomach again before the reconstruction with a nissen fundoplication.

my symptomps came back in full force 18 months after the nissen fundoplication,i believe my nissen slipped or got loose....
now i might face a third surgery to undo the two previous surgery`s and have a redo of the nissen fundoplication.

please people find good information before surgery takes place....it is very important!!!

Ouch. You sound like your surgeon was not that great.

in fact i had a very high skilled surgeon, but do to a lack of data on the esophyx and a nissen after the esophyx this could happen to me.
my surgeon perfomed hundreds of nissen fundoplications with good results he only not did many nissens after a esophyx procedure.
this is the downside when you have a experimental surgery, there is no long term data and experience with it.

i need to ad something,my esophyx was not performed by the same surgeon who did the nissen fundoplication.
now i am going to see a professor (third surgeon) to see if he can resolve the problem.

Bruta,
Where did you have your Esophyx procedure done? If you don't mind me asking.
