I called yesterday to get the results. Dr said my wrap is floppy but he doesn't think it's too loose. I'm still waiting for the results from the Bravo. He wants me to get the barium test done but I'm trying my hardest to avoid it. I do NOT do well with drinking anything like that. Makes me gag and eventually comes back up. And I can only drink 1/2 a cup at a time. I guess I'll see what he says when the other results come back.

When he put the capsule in, I had very mild reflux, if any, the whole time. I could feel it try to come up and I would get pressure and it would stop. Just like the few days after I had the wrap done. Once the capsule fell off, I've been getting it bad again. I sure hope that doesn't affect the results!

Michelle-
Well if the wrap is working well you probably won;t have to worry about it coming back up anyway....sorry couldn;'t resist that one. Seriously, I hope things clear up soon for you and they figure out what's going on.

Take care,
Bill

Good Morning ! Wondering if you could explain a "floppy wrap" to me as I have never had the surgery and am just curious?

I hope you get by without the barium swallow test as I know how much my hubby hate drinking the contrast material too. I will keep you in my thoughts and send lots of good vibes your way.

Gentle Hugs,

Kitt

I can't explain a floppy wrap. All I know is the surgeon said he was going to do it really loose. I'm thinking it might be too loose.
