I just wanted to get some advice on limiting these issues when training/racing. I really don't want to give up this activity, so I am willing to try just about
anything to limit any damage.
I don't have a constant burn, its just the regurgitaion that bothers me. Now, I don't eat for at least 4 hours before training. When I run, cycle, or swim I am generally OK, except I start to get a runny nose and real "phlegmy" in my throat. Which I assume is due to LPRD. I drink plenty of water, so when I do that, that's when I feel some burn when it goes down. It's not even a real burn, but more like my stomach is ultra-sensitive.
So any advice on what you do to limit GERD's impact would be appreciated!
