Anyone achieve successful reduction in GERD symptoms by attempting some of the manual manipulation techniques for your herniated stomach? I tried some starting this morning and amazingly I didn't need to take any supplementary meds (aside from regular PPI). Found the videos on YouTube...lol. Yea I know what you are thinking but they were posted by a Chiropractor. Could be a fluke, but has me considering going to see someone who is expertly trained in a Applied Kinesiology. Got nothing to lose except maybe some of the symptoms (and bucks in worst case). I am sure that my HH is the root cause of my issues. MM idea

Hey, i am willing to try that! What terms did you use to search for the videos on YouTube?

In a routine old hiatal hernia the stomach pulls back down by itself.

In a paraesophageal hernia the stomach is stuck in the chest. It would be dangerous to try to pull that down manually, as if it twists you have a half hour to get surgery or die.

Before my hernia became a paraesophageal one, my chiropractor did that manuever and it did give me some relief. Also working on the thoracic area of my back where the nerves to the stomach originated.

Just make sure you have someone with experience.
