Hi Everyone,
I found this board and really appreciate all of your comments and listing of symptoms.
It has helped me out immensely but I would just like someone's input on a few things.
I have had reflux/GERD 2 times in the past 20 years.  It has reared it's ugly head again and this time with a vengence.

In January I had a sharp pain that came from my mid back (just below the shoulder blades) around the front just under my breast.  I can only compare it to a bad gas pain. It went away as quicly as it came but two days later I could barely eat anything as there was a sore spot in my esophogus.  I had horrible burning pain in my back and chest and pain between my shoulder blades. The burning in my back had no rhyme or reason, one minute it would radiate up my shoulder the next it would run down my ribs. But overall my entire back was burning.   I started on Prilosec and have been on it ever since. The back pain has gotten less and the sore in the esophogus is much better.  I have had a gallbladder ultrasound, upper GI/esophograhm both were negative.  I feel as if the LES is not closing properly and when I drink water I feel it come back up slightly.

My nerves have had it. Occasionally, valium is my friendwink .
Has anyone ever had these symptoms?  Has anyone ever had their Dr. ever talk to you about the nervous system/stomach connection? I keep thinking I am dyeing of something they haven't found yet.  Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading,

If you are under stress it can cause more acid issues.
Have you had the manometry (motility) test? PH Test?
