Hi this is my second post ...

I have been having issues with my swallowing since I had esophagus dilation.......... the first time I had it done was about 2 months ago, then I went about 2 weeks after that and had RFA done then 2 weeks after that I went back in and had my esophagus dilated again and my swallowing is worse that ever....... I am actually having to make myself vomit and food still feels stuck for about 30-45 seconds after I vomit ...I have been chewing my food very very well ..I called the nurse and she said to stick with soft foods until I see my doctor for my next endoscopy to check up my barrettes esophagus on September 8th...I am trying really hard to follow the rules but sometime slip up because I am so hungry, 2 bites of my sons hamburger the other night just about did me in, the food would not go down and severe chest pain with slime buildup in my throat, it was awful ... It happened to me again yesterday when I tried a couple of bites of ham ....

anyways is it normal for this to happen I would think after its dilated it would be better the nurse said I probably need to have it done again...I wonder if anybody else has had to have it done multiple times and how many times..I am not looking forward to living this way the rest of my life :-( I may be getting the Nissan surgery so I guess this is good practice for that otherwise this is really miserable !!!
