Hi. I've been suffering from GERD since last year.
My question is, i also suffer tightness in the chest whenever i am upset, angry, excited?  extreme emotions are killing me.
Is this GERD related?

thank you.

GERD has been blamed for just about everything. Have you asked your doc? Do you have other problems?

Chest pain/chest tightness is also a sx of anxiety. As you posted  "also suffer tightness in the chest whenever i am upset, angry, excited"  I suspect you may need to look at ways to decrease your anxiety.

Please remember I am not a Dr. so this is just my own opinion.  See your Dr.  for a more definitive answer.

Kindly,
Kitt

That happens to me too. I even got chest pains from American Idol when the contestants did good. I'm just that way. Do you take anything for your Gerd? I take Prilocet everyday.
