gastric emptying question

so i had delayed gastric emptying before the fundo 5 days ago and based on symptoms its acting up. any tips on speeding up emptying. with me when im having problems my nose runs when eating..sounds crazy but true. the surgeon still elected a full wrap so what have you all done for this. thanks

Joe,
Did you have testing for gastric emptying? What makes you think you're having problems with that now?

i had tests before the nuclear one and it said delayed emptying for solids. is there anything to help this. the surgeon knew this said i could just deal with it. i had intermittent symptoms before. but recognized the ones today post op

Hi Joe,
Post op you will have lots of fullness that mimics gastric emptying issues. Your stomach is swollen which makes it feel full. Just keep your meals small and often.

Try eating small meals more often. That's what my PCP says helps make the stomach empty faster.
