...so I have this weak LES. If I have the fundo, will I ever be able to hula hoop dance again? I am very much into hoop dance, and it is something I am very passionate about, but I can imagine it being a big no no after a wrap. The torso movements are very significant, and I would have to take this into consideration when deliberating whether or not to have the surgery. My hooping is very important to me. My singing was too, but I seem to have lost that now through LPR, I honestly don't know if I could face losing hooping too.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

I would give my wrap alot of time to heal and then hula away! :)
Singing will come back, too.

I agree,  you should be swinging those hips after a period of recovery. I understand your concern.

I agree. I see absolutely no reason that you wouldn't be able to continue hula hooping once you've recovered, and healed completely. Don't be surprised if your singing voice comes back as well. Right now your vocal chords are inflamed from reflux. Once that is taken care of, they'll start healing.
Hula hoop sing along!
