smilewinkgrin  i all,
I was just curious if there's anyone here that has had stomach polyps that came back as cancerous? One of the major concerns I have for being on this medicine long term is getting stomach cancer (avoiding 1 cancer to get another????). Is it rare to get polyps or is it very common for most people on PPI's to get them?
Thanks very much! TGIF!!!!!

One of the side effect of Nexium (It's posted in small print on their warning label) it can in rare instances, cause stomach polyps. My surgeon said I had them from the long term use of PPIs, but they are not cancerous. He said they would go away after I get off of them.

I was on them for about 9 or 10 years? Not exactly sure the exact amount of time, but it felt like forever.
