I was reading a report from my last EGD / Ablation and saw that I had "scattered erythema throughout the gastric body" so of course they took biopsies for H-pylori, and like all the other biopsies it came back negative for H-pylori. My question for the readers of the this forum is, has any one else had scattered erythema and had it be something else besides H-pylori?

I have never had much to with doctors until all this started, and it sure has opened my eyes to the medical world......they seem to only focus on one thing, they don't look very far beyond what they are dealing with. I guess the TV show "House" is just that, a show. Doesn't seem to apply to real world doctors. Thanks for letting me rant.....

Erythema is a spotty redness. It could be an inflamation or allergic reaction, if not HP.
