Hi its been 3 weeks after my wrap.    My surgery went well.   I didnt have much pain.   Almost no nausea and able to get rid of gas.
I still have trouble getting some things stuck, but I think its probably because I eat too fast and dont chew, chew chew.   Bad habits hard to get rid of.   I think it will be a while before I go out to a restaurant unless I have soup LOL.
I have some trouble with burning on my tongue and in my nose.    Today I didnt have it until just a few minutes ago.    I still havent decided what is causing this.   It could be vitamin deficiency or acid rebound.    I dont think the burning is much.  Hope its just not in my head turn .
I had a follow up appt. on the 9th.    DR said it is too soon after the surgery to decide whether the burning is a problem yet.    I was to have a follow up appt. in a month but hubby doesnt like to drive to Pittsburgh.    So was instructed to call and let them know how I am doing.
I was told I could try eating things, but of course not things like steak.   No carbonation.       Well I didnt really find out about everything about eating.     Does anyone know about when you can add fresh fruit and lettuce.    I did have a pear last night and didnt seem to cause any problem but I have some grapes and didnt know about them.
Thanks for your help.

Just chew very well.
I was eating manderian oranges some and drinking grape juice around your time. I love pineapple, but make sure it's crushed.

Hi Mitzie,
Keeping in mind that gas can be an issue, I would just go with the "anything that can be chewed to a liquid." I'd stay away from salads, because the lettuce is hard to really chew to oblivion. Watch out for tomatoes with the skin on.
Just keep the bites small and chew to liquid. You'll do just fine.
The sky's the limit!
Happy Eating!
