i don't have any pain but at night like 30 minutes after i lay down my throat gets really dry and feels irritated, i wake up with the same feeling and it goes away after i swallow...this gives me the idea that my reflux is worse when im sleeping

does the feeling of your throat gets affected by any type of food or drink? for example mine always feels worse after chocolate or something acidic, and alcohol is the worst, throat feels like wound the day after consuming it, i suppose my throat got damaged a bit too much or something like that.

Radiantstar,
Have you seen a GI for this problem? It sounds like LPR.

I am going there tomorrow, and I only hope that they do needed kinds of tests here - in my country and city, which I kinda doubt. We only first got the MRI machine like 2 years ago, medicine is still very behind over here. I actually have all the matching symptoms with laryngo-pharyngyal reflux, but I don't know if they do those 24hour ph tests and stuff like this, but I guess tomorrow I'll find out. though I am almost positive I have it becouse pretty much all the sympoms match, my throat pain is worst in morning and night just like I've read in articles about LPR and I think the fact that I started having a sore throat at exact same time that I started having heartburn confirms it too.

If you can get some medicine maybe it will help. Good luck!
