Candybia - Even though I can't really speak Italian, google translate does an ok job :-)
I have had Manometry test done, It's not the nicest thing but not as bad as people make out, you will be fine.

I would like to ask if you have looked into the LINX device/magnetic ring that prof bonavina has used. Are you considering it? I have been offered the device and am looking for as much info as possible. Anything that you can advise me on that I may have missed on an italian site would be a great help to me.

Anything I can help you with just ask.

They are all very easy to do. Ask for the endoscopy to be done under sedation. You get to sleep through it.
The only one I didn't like is the manometry (motility study). A tube goes down your throat through the nose to your stomach. While the computer read the pressure of your esophagus you drink water. I kept gagging while they put it inside. :(
