Stick with it! This too shall pass. Just eat every hour or two.

How about Boost High Protein?

Be happy. I can't have juice "drinks," gelatin or canned soups. I only tolerate 1 or 2 eggs a week, no wheat, only real apple juice. I had to cook up all my own foods (broth mostly) in advance and freeze them. I had my own foods brought into the hospital. I even took along my own teabags.

I know. It feels like you're literally starving to death. It doesn't help seeing commercials on TV for food you cannot have that looks so good. I made a HUGE list during recovery of everything I wanted to eat when I could.
Whatever you do, don't rush into solids. It's so painful right after surgery when things get stuck. It feels like your wrap is being torn apart. I remember after my 2 week follow up when my surgeon gave me the thumbs up for solids. I went out to eat with my husband and something got stuck. I felt like I was going to die in the middle of the restaurant.
You're lucky you can eat jello. I couldn't eat jello. It got stuck. I think all I had was cottage cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken noodle soup and slim fast shakes.

once you can tolerate it chunky soups do a good job of filling you up. plus they have varieties... mmmmm. I am going on week 3 and have lost about 15lbs. which is great... even though my wife says i am getting too skinny lol...
