It is going to be 70 degrees today in Des Moines .  Does that mean it is going to be 80 degrees in your neck of the woods.  We will all jump on a river boat and be right down.

Break out the sun tan lotion. yeah yeah yeah yeah

Our driveway is like a lake.  We shall call it Lake Kitt.  Bring your sailboats on over.

Hugs to you Janice for getting out for a bit of fresh air.

Love you back and I am here for you.  I think Bill is outside playing in the funshine.

You're all so lucky! We're having some spring-like weather, but nothing that warm. We're enjoying a break with temps in the 50's.
Enjoy it while you have the chance!

Sorry all, I spent the warmest day of 2011 so far at the hospital. Mine and Michelle's mom had to go and so we both missed out. Just our luck.

The small rivers are all broken up and flooded. Almost all the snow is gone. I am in full softball mode, and heading to St. Louis tomorrow for a College Exposure Tourney. Got to get the car ready to travel today, change the oil, unstick the right front brake slide(been stuck for about 6 months now). Sounds like a mechanics car, huh? Well, gotta go pick up the daughter for an eye appointment.

Take care,
Bill

:( Jealous person over here who lives in England, where the weather is hardly ever warm and sunny (and certainly isn't right now haha)

On a serious note, hope you all enjoyed it. :)

Balmy 75 here today in the south. My therapist turned on the AC today.

I'd hate to be out west right now. Brrrrrrr!

Lucky you, Joy! We just got done with two days of incredible wind. If we'd had much snow at all, we'd have been in a blizzard. Things have calmed down today, but it's cold again.
Have a great day!
Denise

OK Kitt, here's another try getting a live link:
I've got the other browser open, I'm highlighting the URL, and pasting it here...
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/quicklist.html

nothing...boo hoo!

Now I'll try using html coding:

<a href="http://www.webmonkey.com/2010/02/html_cheatsheet/"></a>

Okay, so it just shows the html coding and still doesn't create a live link.

Now I'll push the button at the top of this window that says "URL"

www.webmonkey.com/2010/02/html_cheatsheet/

EUREKA! You have to hit the button before and after you put in the URL. Thanks, Kitt, for your encouragement!

Hey, I'm a slow learner, but eventually I figured it out...
Have a great day everyone yeah yeah yeah
Denise

You got it.  Hightlight the URL and hit copy, then go to the post you want to insert the URL and hit Paste.

Looks awesome !

Well we are getting 8-10 inches of snow today -  happy shoveling again all up here in the snow capital of the world.

Kitt,
Just got in from taking the first walk since I got sick. It felt great. We had horrible wind the past two days, and this is the first quiet day we've had. More snow is headed our way tomorrow.
Hey, it's winter!
Have a great night.

We had the wind, and now we have the after...I think we're about 7 inches right now; still waiting for the freezing rain and then up to 9 more inches? Keep the wind Denise!, keep the wind!!

Sorry, Janice, but I think we're headed in the wrong direction to affect your weather, although I would if I could! Sorry to hear you're getting hit. The ice is what I fear. I can handle lots of snow. Seriously, the wind was blizzard level, and if all our snow hadn't melted, we would have been in big trouble!

I hope, hope, hope you're feeling better today!
((((hugs))))

The snowdumpster was here again yesterday - 13 inches of the dang white stuff.  Snowplow came by twice.  End of driveway tall as Mount Hood !  I am beginning to hate winter in the north woods.

The only thing I still like is Christmas. Daughter stranded in southern MN last night - took refuge in a Hotel with 3 teens and 3 Boston Terriers.  Bet she had a good night.  smurf

Love and hugs all,

Kitt

Hi all
Just got home from St. Louis......Ummm it was sunny and 70s yesterday there. Quite a nice day. We had a 7:30am game, which we won, and had the rest of the day off. We ended up 3rd. Lost to an 18u team 2 to 0. Not bad for a first year 16u with 4 14u players, 2 of which are 8th graders. LOL! We did send home a few 18u teams though. We went 4 and 1 for the weekend. Not bad for not playing since last Oct. Now bring on high school ball!

Take care,
Bill

Hi Kitt,
Wow! That's a lot of snow. We got some, but nothing like that. Today and tomorrow is nothing but blue skies and sunshine! Not warm, but beautiful nonetheless.

My teaching assistant of four years is making the drive to our new home so we can catch up on all the news. I haven't seen her since the summer, and she's never been here. I'm babysitting at the same time, but it should be fun. Hopefully the little guy will behave himself!

Bill,
Congratulations on your team's good showing! I know you're in your glory! ENJOY!

Take care, everyone...
Denise
