For many years now I have a problem at times that my food gets stuck at the opening of my stomach (or so it feels like). I cant eat or drink anything on top of the blockage. I have to put my fingers down my throat to regurgitate the blockage, once done and removed then I can continue eating, if I feel like it. I have been to the docs and they did a gastroscopy and found nothing. I cannot pinpoint any type of food that causes it. It can be anything from steak to porridge (oatmeal). I can go months without it happening. Then I can have several events within a week. It is a strange thing to pinpoint the cause, does anyone else have similar problem?

Hello and welcome to HealingWell.  Here is a link from our resources above that may give you some info:
You may want to get a second opinion from another GI physician. Also may I suggest you keep a food diary of what you ate at the time the food gets stuck.  That could help you identify the culprit.
