I to have been having serious issues with this constant belching. It is not everyday, some days it is only a few hours and others all day long. I am more than irritated. Its hard to do anything with this going on and although I think I may be sucking air in to some degree, it is not with every belch, plus the feeling of needing to belch sits in my throat until I let it out. If I contort my body, I belch more. I can only stop while eating and I dont know that it is even related to what I eat... I think it is eating in general. Something has got to give. Just today this belching is accompanied with extra saliva that seems to have mucus in it. Then I began to dry heave and felt as though I was going to get sick, but nothing came up but more salavia... really weird and terribly gross. I definitly feel pressure in my stomach, but the burping seems to be starting in my chest and lingers in my throat until I push it out... I might feel relief for a minute. As if the burping is done and I am okay again, but then another fit begins... I have been at this for 7 hours and counting... HELP. Oh and I dont know what GERD is, nor have I ever been diagnosed with IBS... However I do have gastrointestial issues... unfortunaltely I have no insurance to get this checked out... Please help.

Welcome Clee, I moved you to a new thread because you were on an old one.

Have you tried eating slowly?
What kind of anti-acid are you taking?
Have you tried cutting out greasy foods, caffine, chocolate and carbonated drinks?
