We've got to stop meeting like this!
I'd much rather have you accessing the internet in the library! Like Kitt, I'm very glad that your surgeon is doing his important homework and researching his options fully.
You know that we're all here rooting for the very best of outcomes for you.
It's hard to hear that you're dealing with yet another setback. I know it's so much harder for you and your family. You know what? It doesn't do a darn bit of good to struggle over what is. Just try to keep a positive outlook, and follow the doctor's orders. That's just about
all you can do. Just know that we're here sending prayers and good vibes your way. Be sure to keep us informed. Kitt,
Glad your biopsy came out positive. I get checked every year from head to toe, and whenever I have a questionable spot, I hightail it into the dermatologist's office. I guess we have that in common!
Keep slathering on that sunscreen!
We're going on vacation in another week, and with any luck will be spending each day on the beach. I spend all my time under the umbrella, and still slathered with a high number sunscreen. Needless to say, I don't tan. I'm a burner, and I'm paying for all those childhood years playing outside from sunup to sundown without the benefit of sunscreen. It wasn't invented yet!
Hope things are going well with your family. I think of you often.Joy,
I haven't forgotten you, and will send more ideas to you as soon as I have a moment. Hopefully there will be one or two you can use.
When does your father have his foot surgery? Having been through two not that long ago, I can speak from experience...It won't be as difficult as he's expecting. The first few days of surgical pain are hard, but they subside pretty quickly. My foot doc recommended I take the pain med as soon as I got home before the pain block wore off, to get ahead of the pain. I wish him lots of luck and speedy healing.Hi Sewfun,
I am having a good week, thanks! It's brutally hot here in the Northeast. We're three miles from a Great Lake, but that isn't cooling us one bit. Today for the first time our air conditioner got behind the heat a bit. It's catching up now that the sun has just about
gone down--however it's still 91 degrees at 9PM! Yikes!
Stay cool everyone!
