Don't do the dilation unless you can't swallow anything!!! You'll just wreck the good effect of the wrap and end up with reflux!!!!!!!!!
Gas bloating is from not being able to burp as well as before and also from the "gassy foods" you eat that are digested into gas by your gut bacteria. You can have that problem for a year or more. The best solution is to eat carefully, eliminating foods that produce gas.
Start with not drinking sodas or beer - anything where you take in gas.
Then look up the lists of "gassy foods" that your bacteria digest - beans, broccoli, etc, and avoid those until you start to tolerate them. Artificial sweeteners, even stevia which is filled with dextrose, and fibers are notorious, except methylcellulose (Citrucel) and Miralax.
Do your homework! Look up gassy foods! The gas problem will probably go away with time, and you can change your eating habits to deal with it. The wrap will loosen up. Don't wreck it! You're just at the beginning still.
