Can anyone suggest a pub drink that is reflux friendly??? I've tried cranberry which doesn't sit well with me, there's the obvious bottled water ( kinda boring) alcohol is a definite no no as I'm trying to heel a damaged oesophagus and I'm really new to having this disease so I'm not sure what's okay to eat or drink. Any suggestions would be great :-) Loz x

I find MDG 64 or Select 55 beer does not bother me. They are about 2.6% alcohol. The more alcohol and the darker beer or wine the worse it is for me.

White Russians! Kahlua, vodka and milk/cream. Basically anything milky is good. I found I was ok with bourbon and rum as long as I had it with mixers. Never had problems with beer and I used to stick with wheat beer. Avoid wine like the plague if you're suffering full on reflux and any type of shots. Post Nissen operation I'm drinking anything I like ;)

Hi there,

Bottled water is kind of boring I agree but drinking alcohol is something I pay for in the middle of the night so I opt to be the designated driver.

Cheers,

Hey Loz! I have a similar question up right now, did you have any successes or failures at the pub? I would love to hear anything that worked for you.

Thanks,
Ashley
