hi guys,

i need some recommendation of some probiotics pills i can take that don't cause reflux to worsen.

What brands are easy on the stomach?

my one love is yougurt. It was total disaster when i tried to eat some yesterday, burned my throat. Of course this has been the 3x time i tried to eat yogurt.
I think i am done trying. lesson learned.

Every time i get a LPR flare up its usually horrible or extremely horrible and somewhat depressing after wards.

thanks guys,

Jesse

Jesse,

I suspect that each person has their own preference which probiotic they like. My hubby uses Advanced CD Accuflora Pro-Biotic Acidophlius.

I am sure other members will have ideas for you.

I take acidophlius pearls. They are very tiny (smaller than a Tic-Tac) and don't have to be refrigerated. You take one a day. :)

i take udo's choice pro biotics cause it has the most number of organisms per serving i could find and 10 different pro biotic strains instead of the usual 2 or three found in most grocerie stores etc

yeah some yogurt may be acidic and burn on the way down

best of good luck

i think probiotics could be helpful if there is a concern about lower gi distress affecting the stomach and the les but otherwise not sure...but...certainly p b have not negatively affected my lpr

its a system...and more and more i see how mental health, and or pain-dysfunction in one area impacts the rest

i take probiotics primarily because i have an irritable bowel and i am gluten intolerant
