Hiya Guys

Do you think it's safe to do some slow, comfortable jogging now?
Like I said, it's 2 months now to the day, and I really feel like
doing some light cardio. Good idea / bad idea?

Darryl,

I had my Nissen on August 16th.  I went back to pulmo rehab yesterday ( I am being evaluated for a double lung transplant).  They told me that at the 2 month mark you can do walking, jogging, running and I did legs yesterday.  Although the weight was lower and I have to work my way back up.  They emphasized that the key was to stop and evaluate how it felt. If something didn't feel right just stop and don't do it and ask.  Of course, we are watched and this is what my team recommended.   It was nice to get back in the routine although it was hard to realize how weak I had become after the surgery!!  Hope this helps:)

It might be a good idea to work up to the jogging by first doing some walking, especially on a soft surface with no hard pounding. It takes 3 months to recover from surgery.
