Hi All,
Does anyone on this forum have experience with pediatric Nissens?  A Facebook forum I visit has a post from a mom with a one-year-old who is two months post Nissen and is retching horribly since the surgery. Apparently their surgeon is 200 miles away, and they're trying to deal with it through them.  The mom was requesting information from members of the Nissen Facebook group.
Apparently the baby vomited regularly before the wrap, which is why the procedure was done.
I don't hear of many pediatric Nissen issues here, but I just thought I'd give it a try.

Thanks for posting this...............I would hope that the little one is able to return to the Dr. for some testing to see what is going on.  I also hope someone here has some input.
Reported operation failures range from 2 to almost 50% of antireflux surgery procedures, particularly in certain subsets of children. The subsets of children with increased fundoplication failure rates include those with chronic respiratory conditions, neurological impairment, repaired esophageal atresia, and infants less than 1 yr of age.
My prayers go out to the Mother and child.
