30 days post op night reflux and bitter taste

i had tonight a worst reflux feeling acids coming back slowly into my mouth,,i waked up the very next day a bitter taste still ,i keep feeling it all that day..my surgeon said wait....things would change..but i am very worry throat still irritated .even water take time to go into my wrap...when things change???

Hi Solivar,
If you're not having water going freely through your wrap (not an unusual circumstance) I doubt you're getting the food to all go through.  I still strongly suspect that you're not getting reflux at night, but rather the food and liquid that has been held up at the wrap is migrating north to your mouth.

I hope you are right.sometimes i eat nearly normal but supper makes me like full or dumped..i go back to toast .toast is ok cheese also..even boiled eggs ..thank you Denise thank you millions of time at least after reading your reply i feel better for hours.....maybe my stomach has very slow emptying and the wrap still needs time to heal completely ....thank you again and again
