Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am still suffering with my swallowing problems (no tumors on Barium swallow, but did not hesitancy likely due to inflammation), but it is a little better. Unfortunately I have lost 8 lbs in just two weeks....and with it being the holidays , I'm a little bummed out. So, I did some research and tomorrow I have an appt with an LPR specialist. It's an ENT who does all of the diagnostics (manometry, transnasal esophography, etc) and who is apparently a big researcher and pioneer in LPR. She also wrote a book on acid reflux. I'll keep you all posted as to any earth shattering info that she may provide that would be helpful for anyone.

I hope I can get my swallowing problem under control. It's really annoying.

Eliz.

I love the work of Dr. Kauffman. Her diet has helped me reduce symptoms and meds. I have a thread going here for people who are interested in the diet described in her book. What she has written about LPR made sense of my symptoms; the diagnosis of GERD did not do that.
