I'm now on day 12 without ppi's and I feel great!! I've had no problems ( apart from when I ate too much chocolate and that was my own fault) but all in all I am getting about
95% or higher pain free days. I have started sleeping on my left side, which most of you probably know is the best way to sleep when suffering from reflux, I take digestive enzymes, estec c, slippery elm, ginger, apple cider vinegar, and I drink plenty of water. I'm not saying this is a miracle cure, but what I will say is that if you've been on ppi's and are looking for an alternative this may work for you. What I have found out is that I can eat white chocolate with no problems at all, this I believe is down to the very low levels of methylxanthine which doesn't cause the LES to loosen.
