you want to be careful with aloe... alot are preserved with citric acid.. thus it has a low ph which is bad if you have LPR.

Yes, Dr Koufman warns about the acid in many beverages, perhaps including this product. I would consider taking this product along with a tablet of calcium carbonate if it contains an acidic preservative. I decided to first try the aloe vera geltabs from my local GNC store, just because it is easier and a little less costly. The ingredients include substances mentioned by several people here, and there were some good reviews at Amazon.

Yes, I have tried Lily of the Desert didn't do anything to help my LPR / GERD symptoms. I did however try a super distilled, clear-colored one that tasted way better (just like plain water) and I thought perhaps it may have eased the burn slightly. No real earth-shattering improvement though.

Sorry, hope that helps,

Sunbeam and Efit,

did you actually try their Stomach Formula? Lily of Desert have several products, but the stomach formula seems to have the right stuff.
