I don't see it mentioned much but since coming off PPIs (low dose, 10mg every other day), I developed a sore geographic tongue - almost almost sides, middle or tip, never the back. Its at different positions at different times, not really present in the morning but comes on during the afternoon and evening. My throat isn't sore nor do I feel any reflux like symptoms. The soreness is akin to having burnt your tongue on a hot drink or food.

Has anyone had this type of symptom with silent reflux? I haven't ruled out anxiety because my health does cause me worry. I just want to figure out if its still the reflux or something else.
