I just contacted a surgeon only 35 miles away for a consultation,I finally got the courage to do this,I can't take the side effects of ppi's anymore, hopefully this will turn around the quality of my life and my health.

I had a TIF last April. It has made a big difference for me. Much broader diet, no Nexium, and not the bad taste and burning in the mouth. The surgery is not too bad and the diet can be managed. It is important to follow the diet. Good luck.
