Anyone experience any tongue and mouth issues with GERD/LPR?

I'm just curious as I've only seen maybe one person other than myself on these forums who have experienced this.

I'm almost positive it is related to GERD as my ENT confirmed.

The sides of my tongue as well as underneath is very sensitive.

I had this almost a year, had the Nissen about 4 weeks ago and still feel the same.... :(

Anyone else experience this and got better with Nissen....?

Gooch718 also had similar issues but Gooch718 is MIA. I hope someone knows how to get in touch with that person to see how he/she is doing.

Max, I'm 3 months post op for Hiatal Hernia Repair and NF.  I have had the issue of burning tongue/mouth for a couple of years and had hoped and expected it to go away after surgery.  I'm still having this issue.  Maybe I'm still healing??  My primary care physician felt it was from the gerd but my surgeon and gastro doctor weren't convinced that it is.  I know we're told it takes 6 months to a year for full recovery.  Is anyone else having this issue?
