I have a hiatal hernia that my surgeon said is causing my LPR.
Can this be fixed with the LYNX treatment?
Anyone know?

From what I have read, requirements for Esophyx: No Barretts, if patient has a Hiatal Hernia, it must be less than 2 cm and positive evidence of acid reflux via a 24-48 hr pH test.

Hope this helps and do talk with your Dr.

For the study, they excluded people that had a hiatal hernia greater than 3 cm but I think it is really up to your surgeon/doctor. If you look at the results of the study people who had their hernia fixed as part of the study did generally better than people that did not. I think practically speaking yes it is possible to get the device with a hernia, they just have to repair the hernia as part of the surgery.
