Hello everyone,
I have H.Pylori and most of the symptoms related to SIBO. Antibiotics given by my GB did not work and I am looking for the alternatives treatments. I am very keen on using enzymes and probiotics and am surfing the net to learn about them. Some enzyme supplement contain animal origins such as Ox Bile. I remember reading somewhere that enzymes with animal based origins are addictive and also this: "....Pancreatic enzymes are animal based and only function in your small intestine. If pancreatic enzymes are taken with food they will be destroyed by the acids in your stomach, and therefore, they are not nearly as effective as plant enzymes....
Can please somebody explain their experiences on animal origins enzymes ?

Hi Senna,

Here is my story, I have h pylori and had sole parasite. In addition, I have sore throats, burping, bloating and bitter taste in the mornings.

What have you done for your h pylori? What specific anti-biotics did you take?

I have taken digestive enzymes by enzymatic. CompleteGest. These were plant based, but did not make a difference for me.

I am trying to get rid of h pylori naturally. I going to see a school dr tomorrow and see what he says.

How do you know you have SIBO?

Hello Nickles, thank you for the reply.

I was given Amoxicilin 500mg capsules( being anti-biotics), Klaricid 500mg tablets (being anti-biotic) and Lansoprazole 30mg 28 capsules. But i still have the parasite.

I feel stomach pain after almost every meal especially meals with protein. That makes me think I don't have enough stomach acid. This is one of the symptoms having Pylori. Drinking pineapple juice, mint/ pepermint and also ginger tea help with the digestion.

As to SIBO, I dont know if I have it for sure but I have almost all the symptoms of it. I am developping intolerence to pasta, bread, potatoes, which I have never had it before. I get very bloated (like 10 months pregnant), gassy and constipated. My face gets very red during the digestion especially after starchy and sugary meals.

I have been reading a lot about digestive system problems. Having nasties in the intestines (small intestines or colon ) cause all sorts of diseases. Once you have them they overgrow rapidly as they feed on sugar and starch.

There is a protocol which I came across on the net. It consists of taking probiotics, enzymes, HCI, grapefruit seed extract, a cancida clear formula, saccharomyces, multi vitamin and of course no sugar no carb diet for a few weeks while on the protocol. I am still looking for good brands for the protocol.

I really think eradication of pylori is only possible with a holistic approach. Therefore that protocol makes sense for me not only for the treatment of the Pylori and also bacterial overgrowth.
Please let me know how you got on with the doctor.

Have you tried pineapple or acidic supplements like Vitamin C or HCL?
Do they make you feel better?

I've tried many natural supplements for h pylori and 2 cleanings specifically for h pylori.

Let me tell you that, I have changed my diet too.
No gluten
No dairy
No soy

I've read David Hompes, H pylori diet book and used his supplement recommendations.

Only certain products have made me feel better.

You name it, I've tried it.

Mastic Gum
Gastromend HP
Pyloricin with oregano oil

Amoxicillin and "clarythrothyphan"
with a PPI. 2 times in 2008 and 2011.
